We know the importance of health, and further, if we have a healthy body in order to keep healthy. The diseases are good for nothing ... limited physical and mental capacity, undermine the economy and can disrupt the goals we set.
So please take care of your body, your health. We must learn to control the mind to remove the bad habits that harm us and inform us so that ignorance does not affect us and cause disease.
Do not do things that harm our body. Saying "something we have to die" is the stupidest thing anyone can say. It is better to be healthy in order to realize all the goals we have in our lives. Our mission in life is to be productive and do not waste that opportunity.
A higher amount of coffee helps women fight depression
According to a recently published study, the more coffee women drink, the more decreases the risk of depression.
The study involved a group of approximately 50.000 women aged between 30 and 55 years old. The women had to complete questionnaires about their consumption of coffee and answer some general questions about their health and state of mind.
At the beginning of the study, none of the women had depression symptoms and after a period of approximately 10 years, 5% started using medication against depression or just started having symptoms.
The research concluded that women who drank two or three cups of coffee per day, had up to 15% less chances of becoming depressed, while those who drank four cups, up to 20% less chances.
Nevertheless, researchers concluded that there is no clear proof that coffee should be used to prevent depression and that the only conclusion is that drinking coffee can help in the case of depression.
Researchers could not identify what exact ingredient influences the depression state. Speculations say that caffeine could be responsible, but for this study, there was not enough data to come up with a conclusion of this kind.
Another possible explanation could be that people who are not depressed simply have more active lifestyles which lead them to consume more coffee than depressed people who have a tendency towards sedentary lifestyle and also avoid coffee due to the anxiety it gives them.
Depression is a psychological condition which is started to affect more people in the last years than it used to. One of the most serious consequences of depression is the suicide attempt.
According to a study performed by "Health.com" among the states of America with the highest number of depressed people are: Arkansas, Mississippi (which is also considered one of the poorest states in America) and Michigan.
The research was conducted by a group of scientists from the University of Harvard, School of Public Health in Boston and the lead author was professor Alberto Aschiero. The study was published in the "Archives of Internal Medicine".
