More Folder Options

Again, go to Start, Settings, Folder Options. This time, click on the View tab. The resulting window shows you a list of
features, some never before available.

Now included are options formerly only found in Plus!, like Smooth edges of screen fonts and Show window contents
while dragging. One of the best features however, is one we wished existed in Win95, the ability to set up a single folderand have those same settings automatically apply to ALL folders (Folder views, Like Current Folder). Here you can evenReset All Folders back to their default values.

But wait there's still more!

Again, go to Start, Settings, Folder Options. This time, click on the General tab, then go to the bottom and select
Custom, based on settings you choose:, then click the Settings button next to that.

From there, you'll be able to enable or disable Active Desktop, choose your browse method for folders, view Web
Content in folders (or not), and even whether you want a single or double-click to launch selected icons (and how
they'll appear).
